St. Patrick Breakfast:  Each year, St. Patrick Church hosts a breakfast in honor our our patron saint, St. Patrick.  Part of the program is a talk by the Pastor, on a topic of his choosing.

Common Good and Common Ground:  Once more I was privileged to speak at Food for the Journey, a monthly luncheon speaker series, sponsored by the Central Region of the Diocese of Lafayette. The talk explores the intersection between respect for human life and building a just society. The audio recording is about 25 minutes.

Faith of our Fathers:  This is a presentation given as part of the Central Region’s “Faith of our Fathers” series of talks, part of our observance of the Year of Faith. The video recording of that talk, given at Sacred Heart Church in Broussard on January 22nd ,2013, is now available on the web.

The content of this talk was “re-packaged” for a Lenten Mission at St. Ann Church in Mamou, La on March 11-13, 2013.  Each talk is about 20 minutes.

Faithful Citizenship:  This is an audio recording of a talk given on Oct. 2, 2012 at “Food for the Journey”, a monthly lecture series sponsored by the Central Region of the Diocese of Lafayette. This presentation speaks to the challenge of carrying our faith into the voting booth in the Fall 2012 elections. (35 minutes)

After Katrina and Rita – Food for the Journey:  Reflections in the aftermath of Hurricanes Katrina and Rita, given at “Food for the Journey”, a monthly gathering for our Central Region, October 4th, 2005. (30 minutes)
